June 8th - 12th

This Week: June 8th - 12th

We continued our social studies theme People and Places of our Community. This week students will be introduced to mapping skills. At home you can make a connection by talking about your floor plan and an exit route out of the house in case of fire. Feel free to send in any maps that you may have. We would be interested to see them. Please label with your name.

Tuesday - Home Reading, Library, Kids Can Move

Re: Field Trip
If you volunteered to drive assume that you are needed. Drivers please meet in the classroom at 9:40 am. We will park our vehicles at Lion's Park, assemble together, then walk to Delta Museum Annex building located just further north down on Delta Street. We will finish up our field trip by returning back to where we parked to have lunch at Lion's Park.

Friday - gym

And as for next week...
Field Trip to Ladner Pioneer Library on Monday June 15.
Wednesday June 17th - Sport's Day theme is Superheroes. We are hoping some of our parents can come and join us on Sports Day. Kindergarten and grade one are invited to take part in the wheels parade. Sunscreen should be applied in the morning at home that day especially because we will be outside all day. Thanks!
There are new photos on the blog at http://pgdiv7.blogspot.com/
I will send an email out of a couple of short videos of students learning the hip hop dance.
